“I graduated from IQRA Islamic school in 2017. One word to describe my time wouldn’t be enough. I Would definitely recommend IQRA Islamic to any parents looking to give their children a solid Islamic and academic foundation. My 8 years at IQRA allowed me to develop the skills I needed in high school and post secondary. The teachers here are committed to helping the students succeed academically and morally. The tight-knit community and small class sizes enable each student to build up to their highest potential. With the effort of staff, students are able to gain confidence and reach their academic goals. My time spent at IQRA will always be memorable, not to forget the amazing friendships I made.

"Iqra Islamic School is an excellent school which has very high academic standards and a supportive staff who care about the students. My children enjoy going to Iqra not just for all that they have learned, but for the great friendships they have made."

Madihah Ameen, Parent

“I am a former student of Iqra Islamic School and attended from grades 1 - 5. The time I had in this school was exceptional. From the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum, Iqra integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.

Though it is a small school, it allows for a lower student-to-teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engaging in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers.

Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within you – your good behaviors and achievements; they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner.

Great team - great school!”

Rayyan Usmani , Alumni 2018

“My daughter & son have been going to Iqra Islamic School since CASA (Kindergarten). The teachers & staff foster an environment of great care towards children. Iqra places a lot of focus on learning and academics. The teachers are willing to go above and beyond to ensure no child is left behind in the classroom. The principal, Dr. Ahmed, has always been accommodating and encourages parent involvement and extracurricular activities. My experience with Iqra has been incredible. It is a great school for an all-rounded Islamic education.”

“My family has the pleasure of having 4 children attend Iqra Islamic school. I feel the school provides my children with a truly rich education and moral foundation. The small class sizes and dedication of the teachers have ensured that their academic studies are at a consistently high level. The sense of community and family that the students develop has helped them to nurture lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging with their peer group. I appreciate the always open-door communication nature of the principal, teachers and all the staff at Iqra Islamic school. Islamic education is very important to our family, and it is nice to know our children are being taught good values.”

Thank you Iqra for providing a safe, friendly and fun environment.”

Shannon Issawi, Parent

“I joined Iqra Islamic School in Grade 5. I was new but the teachers helped me settle down. At first, I struggled but with help of my classmates and teachers I slowly found myself as one of the best students. I started winning competitions and my marks were on an upward trajectory.

Throughout my 4 years at the school, I was constantly pushed to try harder and achieve as much as possible. I thought that the staff were too strict, but now in high school I realized that it really paid off. Iqra helped me develop both socially, religiously and academically. Now as I look back on those years, I realized how much I owe to this school and the teachers. I will forever be indebted to this school for how much they have helped me.”

Fowwaz Mohammed Khan, Graduate 2020

Iqra Islamic School is one of the best schools. The principal and the administrative staff are very caring and are dedicated to guiding students to lifelong success. The teachers here are extremely supportive and devoted to growing each student's academic skills.  I was fortunate to attend Iqra as it helped me grow as an individual. This is one investment that I must ask all parents to make. It will really help your kids a lot!"
